Nefra was born in the desert near Cairo, as a member of side-striped jackals, Canis adustus, with melanism. Her family consisted of her parents, and an older male pup. When she became one year old, she was sent on a journey to make experiences in the world (will write a journal abot this soon-). She was travelling for a few moths when he reached Cairo. There, she was found by Mama Egypt, who brought the pup home for little Gupta. She also gave a white ribbon to her, which she wore at the base of her tail. She recieved the name 'Anubis' from him, and later she managed to find out that it was the name of a god. 'If I'm named after a god, I must be a Goddess' - was her logic, and since then she considers herself a Goddess. Growing up with Egypt, they became very close to each other, and Nefra gained some type of a motherly feeling towards Egypt. When Mama Egypt died, Gupta was still a child, and the only one he had to run to was his jackal. She was there for him through thick and thin, just even more reason for them to grow closer to each other. Modern days came and the jackal watched her owner to grow up to a strong, independent man. She stayed with him through thousands of years yus all the time. When Nefra turned human, she recieved a white dress from Egypt, and she started to wear the yellow bow on her neck. She still lives with Egypt, and helps him with his work, and around the house. She adores her Master, and would do anything for him.
